MARIANNE VLASCHITS and FANNI FUTTERKNECHT
 on the costumes for a great Art Performance 

GARDEN OF LUST

Eine Installation/Performance von Fanni Futterknecht und Marianne Vlaschits.

"Ihr wild holdes Blumengedränge, Soll ich mit euch spielen, entlasst mir der Enge!"

Im GARDEN OF LUST bestrafen Marianne Vlaschits und Fanni Futterknecht künstliche Blumen und Pflanzen mittels fetischistischer Maßnahmen für ihre lockende Schönheit. Inspiriert durch das Bild "Le Chevalier aux Fleurs" von George Rochegrosse, in dem die Belästigung Parzifals durch die Blumenmädchen dargestellt ist, evoziert die Installation eine schwüle Atmosphäre aus zarten Pastelltönen und edlen Materialen wie Plastik und Styrodur. Die Natur als Dirne verführt zu aggressiven Lusthandlungen. Die Körper der Performerinnen verwandeln sich in anonyme Penetratoren, welche Öffnungen durchbohren, Flüssigkeiten verspritzen, Blätter zerschneiden, an Stängeln saugen. Das Verlangen wird zum grausigen Kampf zwischen Künstlichkeit und Natürlichkeit.
